Our programs are intended for individuals living with spinal cord injuries. Every request is reviewed based on eligibility, documentation, available funding, and whether the need fits within our current programs.

What types of assistance do you currently provide?

We currently consider eligible requests involving durable medical equipment and medical bills.

How do I apply?

Is assistance guaranteed?

No. Nathan Powell Foundation is a growing nonprofit with limited resources. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval or funding.

How long does the review process take?

Review times may vary depending on the completeness of the application, the documentation provided, the type of request, and our available resources.

Will I have to repay the assistance?

Approved charitable assistance generally does not need to be repaid unless different terms are clearly communicated before assistance is accepted.

Can payment be sent directly to me?

Whenever possible, approved assistance may be paid directly to a qualified vendor, medical equipment provider, repair company, or healthcare provider rather than to the applicant.

Can you help with emergency medical situations?

We are not an emergency medical provider and may not be able to offer immediate assistance. For a medical emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Nathan Powell Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding their individual circumstances.

Where does my donation go?

Donations support our charitable mission, current assistance programs, responsible organizational operations, outreach, and the development of our ability to serve more individuals.

Can I choose how my donation is used?
